Atopic eczema is one of the most common skin diseases, affecting up to 20% of children under 10 years of age. It would, however, be mistaken to believe that in adults, the disease rarely occurs. Unfortunately, the incidence of illnesses is still rising and higher representation occurs in economically developed countries. This confirms the presumption of inappropriate environmental and living conditions.
Atopic eczema is a genetically conditioned, chronic, inflammatory skin disease characterized by dry skin and intense itching. Common is the current combination with Atma bronchiale, which is why we are talking about so-called dermorespiratory syndrome. The main problem with atopic eczema is the dry and itchy skin. It is therefore absolutely essential to consider the regular repeated application of soothing emollients.
From our product portfolio we recommend moisturizing creams, oleogels or body lotions that hydrate the skin and absorb well. Due to the content of thermal sulphur water and natural oils, they are recommended in subsequent skin care with atopic eczema.
